As we step into 2025, I'm reminded of a pivotal moment in my own journey that taught me a valuable lesson about opportunity.

Back when I first moved to China, seeking entrepreneurial prospects, I found myself in a coaching session with Dr. Bob Aubrey.

When challenged about my network, I initially thought I had none.

But Dr. Aubrey's wisdom opened my eyes:

"You likely already have a network but you're just not aware of it." 

This realization led me to connect with Sean, who later became my co-founder, and ultimately to start Macau.com instead of investing in an airline.

The lesson?

Opportunities often lie hidden in plain sight, within our existing connections and experiences.
