🦄 How I evaluate startup investments weekly. With 2 unicorns in my portfolio, 1 already successfully exited, I've identified one crucial factor that drives my investment decisions: Is there a clear "Magical Pair" at work? 🤔

I've always been intrigued by what makes teams excel. Through my exploration, particularly in the gaming industry, I discovered that a "magical pair" is often at the heart of high-performing teams.🎮✨

Below, I share 3 ideas, 2 quotes, and 1 question for you to consider this week:

Forming a Strong Core Team: When building a new, high-performing team, start by finding two people who work extremely well together. 👥

Trust and Complementarity: These two individuals should have complete trust in each other; effortlessly finishing each other’s thoughts while offering different perspectives. Together, they elevate each other's performance. 🤝🧠

III.

Synergistic Impact: The result of their collaboration is exponentially greater than the sum of their individual efforts. Think of them as the mechanic and the driver in Formula One racing or the pilot and co-pilot in rally racing - each bringing their unique strengths to achieve extraordinary outcomes. 🌟
